Process

A sequence, not a scramble.

Five stages. Each one closes a decision so the next can be made properly.

Process

A sequence, not a scramble.

  1. Discover

    Goals, audience and constraints

We establish what the business actually needs to happen, who has to be convinced, and what limits the project — budget, timeline, existing systems, internal capacity. Constraints stated early are cheaper than constraints discovered late.

  2. Define

    Positioning, content and system

Positioning, information architecture and content structure are agreed before any interface is drawn. This is where most of the commercial value is decided.

  3. Design

    Identity, interface and motion

Visual system, interface and interaction, designed against the real content rather than placeholder text, and composed for mobile as its own layout rather than a narrowed desktop.

  4. Develop

    Fast, accessible production build

Production build against explicit performance and accessibility budgets, with the same scrutiny applied to keyboard use and reduced motion as to the headline animation.

  5. Grow

    Launch, measure and improve

Launch, then measurement, then improvement. Active clients keep a direct line for changes, additions and critical support.
