KASE Fermetures
Mapped a two-level product structure — windows, entrance doors, garage doors and shutters, each split by material — so a visitor arrives at the exact combination they came for rather than a single catalogue page.

Context
KASE Fermetures is a joinery specialist based at Saulcy-sur-Meurthe in the Vosges, supplying and installing windows, entrance doors, garage doors and shutters for domestic clients across the department.
Challenge
The catalogue has two axes. There are four product families, and most of them exist in PVC, aluminium and wood. Flattened into one list that is a dozen entries with no order to them; flattened the other way, a visitor looking specifically for aluminium windows has to open a generic windows page and hunt.
Strategy
We built the structure on both axes at once: family first, then material. Windows, entrance doors, garage doors and shutters are the top level, and each opens onto its material variants. The visitor who knows only that they need new windows and the visitor who has already specified aluminium both land correctly, and each intermediate page is a real page with something to say rather than a routing stub.
Local qualification runs through the proposition. In this trade the deciding factor is often that the installer is nearby, so the department is stated rather than implied.
Design and system
The composition alternates product and reassurance: range, then why this installer — free quote, local craftsman, certified products, careful installation — then completed projects, then contact. The phone number and email sit above the navigation, because a joinery enquiry is usually a call rather than a form.
Build
The two-level product structure is generated from a single content model, so a new material can be added to a family without a new template. Contact details repeat at the end of the page and a location section closes the sequence, since a local trade is judged partly on whether it is genuinely local.
Outcome
Mapped a two-level product structure — windows, entrance doors, garage doors and shutters, each split by material — so a visitor arrives at the exact combination they came for rather than a single catalogue page.
